New bows...cute ponies, and....flying monkies?

TRUE...I see the hair isn't at it's best but hey....who can compete when your kid is eating lucky charms..? They are magically delicious you know. Besides, I never proclaimed to be a professional. I was doing hair, making breakfast, feeding the dog, and making cookies at the same time.

Nutin' Fancy

Nothing particularly fancy, Sarah just wanted to show off her bows we just made. Boy was she a "fighter' this morning! Has anyone ever thought braids were going to be impossible? Now I have "mother guilt" for scolding her before school. Sheesh....

BOHEMIAN HAIR

Bohemian hair is HOT, HOT, HOT right now. Below is two examples. The first one was achieved by straightening the hair and making a headband out of your own hair. The second pics are done by waving the hair (we used the Conair Infinity deep wave curler) Then we added a "hippie" hairband. LOVE IT! Totally pimped up Britt's hair.

EASY BREEZY HIKING HAIR

Today, Sarah is going on a field trip to the Ostrich Farm. She will feed them along with the deer and some Lorakeets. Then, they are having a picnic and hiking to see the wildflower gardens and butterflies. Fun day!

Take a good look at Sarah's face on this picture. She never wants to smile so I yelled, "Daddy wears DIAPERS"....it worked.

I noticed the hair really doesn't look that great in these pics but has deep waves in it and is gorgeous. Brittany and I scored a deep wave ceramic curling iron for 13 bucks yesterday! HOLY MOLIE! We bought two of course. Brittany and Sarah love their new Bohemian hairstyles.

WOWZA...TWO FOR ONE

Today is Sarah's first trip to the dentist (it counts as first if it is the first time she actually lets them in the mouth, right? OK...so we didn't have any luck the first two times. Sad.

I'm lovin' these twist braids. They look so cute in her hair. You know, I wish I had someone to work on my hair. Sigh.

Sarah and Daddy went to a Ho-down so I thought it appropriate that she looked "tough". Scary.

OK, OK...I could have cropped out my steam mop but at least I clean.

UPDO

OK...fancy, I know...but we are getting a little practice in for formals as Brittany gets older. Here is her UPdo from different angles. I did this by tying hair into loops and pinning.
OHHHHH, look at it with the flower....makes it, don't ya think?

The cool thing about the worms in the hair the day before is the wonderful big ole PUFF of curls you get the next day. Here is mighty rocker girl showing off for the camera. She is especially excited about this hairdo because it was FAST and SHE LOVES CURLY HAIR!

TUESDAY WORMS

Her hair needed to be a little longer to get the full effect. It wasn't nearly as cool as on the hairblog I saw it on. I twisted it until it curled on itself...thus, the worms. Ms. Sarah was patient for this one but so excited that I couldn't get her to hold still for the picture. Truffle (in background) however was calm and posed nicely...

MADE WITH THE GOOD OLE FLAT IRON....the only way Sarah's hair can hold a curl!
On a sadder note, she didn't like being called Strawberry Shortcake at school...bummer.
